Authors: Dutschke, Georg; Rosa, Carlos Alves; Loureiro, Ana; Casaca, Joaquim
Abstract: Research on organizational happiness has been increasing in recent years but there is still need to develop instruments to
measure happiness at work, considering organizational factors. These studies aim to start this work, proposing a scale to
measure organizational happiness. We conducted two studies, following a cross validation approach. The first study, qualitative, by applying content analyses, aimed to identify the factors and variables considered essential to be happy within
the organization. The sample in study 1 consisted of 969 active professionals from Human Resources Portuguese Association database. Based on the content analyses we developed a first questionnaire. Study 2 aimed to initiate the scale validation. The questionnaire developed in study 1 was answered by a second sample of 1336 active professionals. The exploratory analysis identified four first order factors. Next step will be to proceed with confirmatory factorial analysis to validate the model and propose a final scale.2015-10-01T00:00:00ZCaracteristicas del empreendedor en el acto de empreender

Abstract: This work includes an exploratory analysis on the factors that characterize the creators
of companies, both those who have consolidated the project and those entrepreneurs
who failed their desire to consolidate and develop the company over time. Both cases of
companies that had to close and companies that remain successful in the marketplace
are considered. It has been an added issue locating the creators of companies that do not
currently exist. This work is a continuation of others, developed in previous years. The
methodology used was the Rasch model. Main conclusion being presented is that most
factors characterizing the entrepreneurial spirit are personal values, allowing developing
and undertake a project, independently of its success or not.2011-09-21T00:00:00ZThe Hofstede model in the study of the impact of Sevilla Expo 92

Title: The Hofstede model in the study of the impact of Sevilla Expo 92
